A big thank you to celebrity fitness instructor Jane Wrafter for organising the fantastic 'Ab Fab' fitness fundraiser on Saturday 9th November 2013. The event was a huge success, raising over £4,000 for the RNOH Appeal, to go towards the new Spinal Cord Injury Centre.
Participants were challenged with six fitness sessions, including zumba, pilates, yoga and ballet tone. A fabulous raffle and auction added to the fundraising fun.
Below, Jane explains why she wanted to organise this event:
"Having suffered from back injuries myself, and through my work with clients with back problems, I fully understand the importance of good back care and treatment, and the fundamental role exercise plays within this. As a pilates instructor I have seen the dramatic improvement exercise can bring, helping to reduce pain, improve mobility and increase core strength. The RNOH offers an extremely high standard of care with an outstanding reputation for excellence both in terms of clinical practice and support for patients and their families."
